MIDDLE SCHOOL

Wednesdays from 3:00 – 4:30 pm
Middle School is a unique time of life! Other than the first two years of our lives, it is the time when we change and grow more than any other time in our lives. It is easy during these years to feel lost, awkward, and different. Here at Lighthouse CPC the Middle School Youth will find a place that they can have fun, feel comfortable, and grow in faith. Transportation available from OBMS and Hinson Middle School if registration forms are completed and space is available. Students from other schools are encouraged to attend, however you will need to provide your own transportation.

HIGH SCHOOL

Wednesdays from 5:30 – 7:00 pm
High School is a time that we really start to figure out who we are and what impact we want to make on the world. High Schoolers are passionate about their interests, they love their friends, and they are often very busy balancing all of these things. Lighthouse CPC is here to come alongside these students and walk them through this time. We offer opportunities to hang out and have fun, be spiritually challenges, and also have a chance to put their faith into action through service. Senior high students can come join us during any of our activities and bring a friend!

DONUTS & DEVOTIONS

Sundays 10:45 – 11:45 am
This class meets during the second service (10:45-11:45 am), and is an opportunity for students to go deeper with their faith and spirituality. During this time we explore topics and questions pertaining to life, God, faith, spirituality, Jesus, and the Bible. The structure of this class is largely discussion based, providing students with an opportunity to wrestle with the questions and engage in the discussion themselves. Topics we have covered in the past include: “What is the Bible?” “How do I read the Bible?” and “What does it mean to have a relationship with God?”

FIRST FRIDAY

The First Friday every month at 6:00 pm
First Friday is a monthly event (first Friday of every month) in which both of our student ministries (High school and Middle school) get an opportunity to connect and interact with one another. First Friday is high energy and a lot of fun! There’s lots of food, games, music, and even prizes for first time guests! Our incredible Youth Band also leads us in Worship, it’s a party you don’t want to miss!

MISSIONS AND SERVICE

There are many opportunities for our youth to volunteer in community service and mission. Our youth volunteer at food banks, help special needs children and families, assist in our nursery and Sunday School Programs, Vacation Bible School helpers and leaders, and more! There are also opportunities for local and international mission trips.
