What is a small group?

Life is not meant to be lived alone. God intends for us to experience life together, and that’s why at Lighthouse we encourage you to get into a life group. A life group is a weekly, biweekly, or monthly gathering of three or more people who meet at church, in a home, or other location. They hang out, study the Word, and pray together. Groups come in all shapes and sizes and are for all stages of life.

How do I join a Life Group?

We are thrilled to announce that many life groups are continuing to meet using technology and other creative means of staying connected! If you aren’t already “plugged in” with a group, please consider joining one of the three new classes we are offering. All sessions will be virtual classes using the Zoom.us website (tutorials available).

Myra Wooden will be leading an online class using “Five Love Languages” beginning Tuesday, May 26 at 1:00pm. Please contact Myra directly for more information or to register and obtain information on materials – Myra@lighthousepresob.org.

Rebecca Gonzalez will be leading an online class using “Not a Fan” beginning Thursday, May 28 at1:00pm. Please contact Rebecca directly for more information or to register and obtain information on materials – Rebecca@lighthousepresob.org.

Clyde & Kathy Stickney will be leading an online weekly class at two different times on Thursdays; one at 11 am and another at 4 pm. Each week they select a psalm that speaks to what we are all facing these days. Members would study and prepare using an e-mailed lesson and some discussion questions. Kathy will spend 20 minutes summarizing the main points. Clyde will follow with lead the discussion. Please contact Clyde & Kathy directly cstickney1@cfl.rr.com for more information and to register.
